About PRS

The Psychotherapy Referral Service of Toronto is an association of 50 psychotherapists, all graduates of the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy. CTP requires a minimum of 6 years of rigorous professional training in psychotherapy, with clinical supervision. Graduates have a solid academic and practical foundation in the theory and practice of psychotherapy. CTP also requires its members to experience intensive personal psychotherapy before and during training.

PRS refers only to therapists who belong to an association that has a code of conduct respecting the practice of psychotherapy.

The Psychotherapy Referral Service is a not-for-profit organization that has been helping people confront many challenges since 1995.
