Training & Experience

Focused primarily on the Psychodynamic tradition, graduates of the CTP program attain a solid background in psychotherapeutic theory and practice. As is essential to any psychodynamic training, PRS Qualified Therapists undergo a thorough psychotherapy of their own.

In addition to extensive, interactive theoretical study, students must maintain ongoing personal psychotherapy, and complete a minimum of 4 years in group therapy. Beyond this training, PRS members maintain ongoing professional development through attending psychotherapy conferences, training seminars and supervision sessions.

Locations & Fees

Our Qualified Therapists maintain practices in both professional offices and private home settings across the GTA: Downtown Toronto, the Annex, High Park, Queen West, Broadview Danforth, North York.

Fees vary by practitioner and are moderate by industry standards, ranging from approximately $100.00 to $150.00 per hour, and may or may not include HST. (some therapists may charge more) While not covered by OHIP, fees charged by a Registered Psychotherapist are tax-deductible (and, in some cases, may be covered by your insurance plan).
