About Kerri Adams
I run a private psychotherapy practice from my home office in the lovely High Park area of Toronto. I am a graduate of the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy (CTP) and have been practicing since 2008. I am currently a member of the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute, where I am involved in an advanced, trauma based training. This current training is a wonderful enhancement to my original CTP training and a provides more therapeutic options for both myself and my clients.
I work in English.

What happens in a therapy session
Our therapy sessions will be 50 minutes long, preferably on a weekly basis. We will work in a relational way, while also paying attention to what you notice in your body as we talk. We can explore not only your feelings, memories and emotions but also any and all physical sensations, which will lead us to more memory that you’ve been unaware of until now. I will carefully and respectfully support and guide you through our process together.
I generally book full sessions after the initial contact, which can be done by phone or email. However, I also offer a 30 minute, face to face consultation at no charge. If we decide to move forward with the therapy after the initial consultation, we will find an appointment time that works best for weekly sessions.
