The demands of our lives and the pressure we feel can overwhelm us. Even with our best efforts, we can still find ourselves struggling. I welcome you to start where you are. Through weekly sessions, my role as a psychotherapist aims to help you uncover new experiences – a way of seeing something old, newly. A good fit is important to our work. If you’re interested in speaking further, please contact me by phone or email and we’ll go from there.
I completed an intensive 9-year training at The Centre for Training in Psychotherapy and have been practicing psychodynamic psychotherapy in Toronto for 7 years .
My personal journey as a client led me to becoming a therapist. My need for continuing education is facilitated through my experience working with clients, pursuing supervision/consultation regarding the work, participating in a peer supervision group, a reading group and attending workshops and lectures.
I am a member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy.
I work in the English language.
After finding a mutually agreeable time and day each week, that hour is dedicated to you. The process is about being together and sharing your experiences and where your struggles lay. In creating this regular and personal space and place, my hope is to provide an opportunity for you to be as you are and reflect on how your life has been. As your psychotherapist, I will sometimes ask you questions or share what I’m noticing in you. Your dreams, your daydreams, your fears, your inner world are welcomed as part of the process. As a witness to your world and journey, I hold what is shared with respect, working together with you to uncover what your pace is and what your needs are.
If you’d like to speak further about the possibility of working together, please contact me by email or by phone. I offer a free ½ hour consultation to help ensure a good fit between us.
Finding a therapist online should be this easy. You can search our therapist profiles based on your location, availability, in-person and online sessions, or for couples counselling. You could also choose to browse all of our therapist's profiles. Once you find someone who feels like a good match for your needs, you can reach out to that therapist directly.
