During psychotherapy we will have conversations about all aspects of your life. We will learn about your specific issues, and how your relationships, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors affect you. Together we can begin to make sense of the meaning these have for you, which will open new possibilities for you to consider.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor with over twenty years of experience providing psychoanalytic/psychodynamic services to adults and couples. I established the Richmond Hill Psychotherapy Centre (2010-2021), to provide a range of psychological services for individuals and families in York Region. Alongside my clinical practice, I was the Assistant Registrar for The Centre for Training in Psychotherapy and served as an elected Board Member for the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy from 2012-2015. Since then, I have provided consultation services for various regulated health practices, psychotherapy training programs and participated in several pilot projects for the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
I completed the Adler Graduate Professional School’s Advanced Clinical Supervision Certification in 2019 to provide eligible (College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario) supervision to training psychotherapists. My supervision practice is based on the psychodynamic modality. Individual and group supervision inquiries are welcomed.
My couple therapy approach is a psychodynamic approach, combined with post-graduate training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (Level 1) and The Gottman Method (Level 1-2). Referrals are welcomed.

Building our rapport between client and therapist, your history taking, and collaboratively creating a treatment plan will require several sessions. Throughout the work, we monitor our rapport and your therapeutic process, and adjust the course of therapy accordingly. When satisfactory change is experienced and/or at your explicit request, we enter the ending phase of therapy. We review your experience of the treatment and identify any unresolved issues which you might want to return to in the future. The work is collaborative at all points.

Finding a therapist online should be this easy. You can search our therapist profiles based on your location, availability, in-person and online sessions, or for couples counselling. You could also choose to browse all of our therapist's profiles. Once you find someone who feels like a good match for your needs, you can reach out to that therapist directly.
